The only sense I can come up with is that those who do not like the song simply do not understand it. Most likely because they do not have the depth the life experiences, to see the song for what it means. I love Johny Cash and I know his story, this video is incredibly put together. What fore sight the director had. Well done well don.

@IWillCallHimMINIME This was basically his goodbye to life song. The NIN may have more ‘Umph’ to it, but this one has the eeriness to it.
Personally, I like the original better…
But, that’s not to say that the cover isn’t amazing. Both are deep and touching, but the NiN version has a bit more… ‘Umph’ to it, a bit more of a haunting tone. But, Cash’s version is also excellent. I love them both.
